Meet NOAH: The Story Behind Your AI Wellness Companion
Every product has a reason it exists. Here's ours, told plainly: most relaxation apps hand you a library of a few hundred tracks and hope you pick the right one. We wanted to build something that actually listens first — you say how you feel, in your own words, and it responds to that, not to a category you happened to click.
Why we built NOAH
NOAH is a free AI companion, currently in beta, that responds with warmth to how you're feeling and generates a personalized sound, light, and frequency relaxation session around it. The idea is simple: fewer menus, less scrolling, more actually being heard for the thirty seconds it takes to describe your day.
The frustration that started this was an ordinary one: opening a relaxation app after a rough day and being met with a wall of tiles — "Anxiety," "Focus," "Sleep," "Gratitude" — none of which quite matched what was actually going on. Real feelings rarely sort neatly into four categories. We wanted to try the opposite approach: let someone just say what's true, in their own words, and build the session from there instead of asking them to file themselves into a folder first.
What NOAH actually is (and isn't)
Is: a free, beta, AI-guided relaxation companion that listens and responds, then builds a session shaped around that moment.
Isn't: a licensed therapist, a doctor, a medical device, or a treatment for any condition. NOAH doesn't diagnose anything and doesn't promise a cure — it's a relaxation and wellness tool, full stop, and we'd rather say that plainly than let you find out later.
What a first session actually looks like
You open younoahguy.com and NOAH greets you. You type or speak how you're feeling — tired, wound up, restless, whatever's true right now. NOAH responds conversationally, then builds a session around what you told it: layered sound, gentle light and visuals, a breathing pace to settle into. You don't need a card or an account to try the first taste; a free account lets you keep going whenever you'd like. There's no onboarding quiz, no fifteen-tile mood board to click through first — the conversation itself is the onboarding.
Why "free during beta," and what that actually means
NOAH is genuinely in beta — actively being built and improved, and currently free to use. We'll say the quiet part out loud: the team behind this is small, a solo operator working with a lot of AI-assisted engineering, not a large company with a big support desk. That means things may change, occasionally something might be a little rough around the edges, and real feedback genuinely shapes what gets built next. We'd rather you know that going in than oversell a polish we don't have yet.
What we won't do
A few honesty commitments, stated directly:
- No fake testimonials or invented statistics, here or anywhere on this site
- No promising to cure, treat, or diagnose anything
- No dressing up popular "healing frequency" folklore — like the 528 Hz DNA-repair claim — as settled science when it isn't
NOAH is offered for relaxation and enjoyment, plainly stated rather than dressed up. If that's the kind of thing you're looking for, we built this for you. That same honesty is why you'll find a plain-language privacy policy and terms of service linked in the footer of every page on this site, not buried somewhere you'd never find them.
What's next for NOAH
We're actively building more ways to personalize each session, and beta feedback genuinely shapes what gets prioritized next — not as a marketing line, but because the team is small enough that a real piece of feedback can turn into a shipped change quickly. If something about a session doesn't work for you, telling us is the most useful thing you can do.
Come say hello
You don't need to prepare anything. Just show up as you are, tell NOAH how you're feeling, and see what it builds. If you want a sense of how the underlying approach works first, our piece on AI-guided meditation is a good next stop.
Common questions
- Is NOAH really free? Yes — free to use during our beta, stated plainly, with no hidden card requirement to try a first session.
- Will NOAH always be free? The beta is free right now. Like most products, pricing may evolve later, and if it does, we'll be upfront about it rather than springing it on anyone.
- Who's actually behind You Noah Guy? A small, independent team — not a large corporation. We think that's worth knowing rather than hiding behind a faceless brand voice.
- What happens to what I tell NOAH? It's used to generate your response and session in the moment and isn't saved as a stored transcript. Full details live in our privacy policy.
